Application Agreement and On-The-Job Start Process
Before starting work at the workplace, the Application Agreement must be signed by both the student and the workplace and approved by the Coordination Office.
On the designated date, the student begins working full-time at the workplace.
Application Duration and Work Schedule
The student works full-time at the designated workplace throughout the academic year.
Cooperative Education is a two-semester program (7th and 8th semesters). Each semester consists of 14 weeks.
Although the program is carried out as a whole, each semester is evaluated separately.
Attendance Requirement and Academic Status
Students who have excessive absenteeism or are determined to have failed will be removed from the Cooperative Education Program.
In such cases, the student will continue in their regular undergraduate program in the following semester.
Change of Workplace (If Necessary)
After the start of the program, the student may request a workplace change based on a valid reason.
Applications must be submitted in writing to the Coordination Office and will be evaluated by the University Cooperative Education Commission.
If approved, a workplace change can be made only once. However, in cases of compelling circumstances beyond the students control, more than one change may be allowed.
Supervision and Monitoring
The process is monitored by the Faculty Cooperative Education Commission and the Workplace Coordinator.
Workplaces that fail to fulfill their obligations may be removed from the program.
