● Obtain Company and Contact Information: Find out the address, phone numbers, and the contact persons who will be responsible for you at the company where you will do your Cooperative Education. If you have difficulty accessing some of this information, you can contact the ICE Office for assistance.
●Be Respectful in Communication: Be clear and sincere in your communication, but always maintain mutual respect. This helps you build both professional and healthy relationships.
●Learn and Follow Workplace Rules: Familiarize yourself with the rules set by your workplace and make sure to follow them. This will ensure a smooth working environment.
● Pay Attention to Occupational Health and Safety: Follow the occupational health and safety rules applied in the workplace to protect both yourself and those around you.
● Respect Your Supervisor’s Expectations: Try to understand the tasks requested by your employer and supervisor and make an effort to complete them.
● Keep Daily Records of Your Activities: Keep written records of your daily tasks and observations. These can be used later when preparing your “Cooperative Education Report.” Keeping a notebook will be helpful.
●Submit the Cooperative Education Report Properly and On Time: Complete the forms in your Cooperative Education report accurately and fully, remember to get the necessary signatures, and submit the report within the specified time frame.
●Maintain Communication with Coordinators and Advisors: Stay in regular contact with the Cooperative Education Coordination Office and your advisors during the program. This ensures that your training progresses efficiently and correctly.
